# Kept > A disposable camera app for events. Every guest gets their own roll of 36 > shots, and no photograph is visible to anyone until the event ends and the > roll "develops" - at which point every photo from every guest opens at once. Kept is made by WayPointLabs. It runs on iOS and Android, and guests can join without installing anything: they scan a QR code, type a name, and the camera opens. On iPhone this launches as an App Clip; elsewhere it runs in a browser. ## What makes it different The delayed reveal is enforced on the server, not in the interface. Before a roll develops, the API does not include photo URLs in any response. Photos are not blurred, not hidden behind a tap, and not downloaded-then-obscured - they are never transmitted to any device. This applies to the host and to the person who took the photo. Competing shared-album products deliver photos immediately. ## Key facts - Guests need no account. Access is a random token held in device secure storage. - Each guest gets 36 shots by default, matching a real disposable camera. - No preview, no retakes, no deleting a shot after taking it. - The host sets when the roll develops, and can develop it early. - Pricing is one-time per event, by guest count. There is no subscription. - Free for up to 5 guests. - Photos are stored encrypted on AWS S3 in us-east-1. ## Pricing (USD, one-time per event) - 5 guests: Free - 10 guests: $1.29 - 25 guests: $3.49 - 50 guests: $9.99 - 100 guests: $19.99 - 150 guests: $34.99 - 200 guests: $54.99 - Unlimited guests: $69.99 - Unlimited shots add-on: $6.99 ## Common uses Weddings, birthdays, stag and doe parties, trips, reunions, holiday parties, engagements, graduations, anniversaries, company offsites. ## Pages - [Home](https://kept.film/): what Kept is, how it works, pricing, FAQ - [Documentation](https://kept.film/docs/): full guide for hosts and guests - [Privacy](https://kept.film/privacy/): what is collected, retention schedule - [Terms](https://kept.film/terms/): terms of use ## Contact hello@kept.film
