Two different jobs
An upload service answers the question “how do we collect the photos our guests took?” It is a drop box with a QR code on the front. Guests take photos however they like, pick their favourites, and send them. The host gets a gallery.
Kept answers a different question: “how do we get our guests to take different photos?” The camera has no preview and no delete, so people stop composing and start shooting. The roll is hidden until it develops, so people stop checking and start dancing. What comes back is not the highlights. It is the night.

Which to choose
If you want a live wall of photos at the reception and a tidy gallery of guest favourites afterwards, an upload service is built for exactly that. If you want your guests to spend the night looking at each other and to open a roll of eighty unposed frames together the next morning, that is Kept. Some couples run both: the upload link on the website for afterwards, the Kept code on the tables for the night.
